"Fire Star" by Chris D’Lacey

In the third book of The Fire Within series, David rain travels to the arctic reaches for a field trip, only to find that an old enemy is back and has kidnapped Lucy, his land owner’s daughter. As soon as he returns, his girlfriend who stayed in the arctic mysteriously disappears. A young being of the multi-dimensional race of the Fain, enters the world through one of David’s dragons, G’reth, which subsequently causes an older, and much more malicious Fain to follow, wrecking havoc through the world. All of this ends up back where it all started, but not without some paying the ultimate price.

An exciting saga, surrounded by mystery and loss, hope and grief. Filling you with wonder of what will happen next, till the very end. However, it has a sad ending, and leaves too much in shadow, and is not for the weak hearted. One who wishes for more would enjoy this story, surrounded with the lights of the north to the gloomy weather of a rainy island. This story makes you wish to never put it down, and you can’t wait for the next book in the series. It can be improved if it tells more at the end. I highly recommend you to go to the website, www.icefire.co.uk.

I've read the first book and feel that Chris d'Lacey has a writing style that captures the reader in a flow that continues until the end of the book. I feel that this review is very interesting and would like to read it someday, though I think you should've inturoduced the characters more thoroughly. For people who have read the first book, this is a review that would make people want to continue to read the series. I believe that you've done a superb job of introducing the book by using many catchy phrases that hooks the reader.

The book Fire Star sounds like a interesting and exciting story. However I agree with Ben about the fact that you should have introduced the characters more throughly. The plot sounds interesting but I have almost no idea what the characteristics of the characters are.

Now that I have read the review i want to read the books. Like ben said that you should introduce the characters more, but you told it in a way thet was still captivating weather or not i kney anything about the characters. The names just didn't have much meaning.

After I read this review it catched my interest because I basically like fantasies and mysterious kind of books. Also I think you did a good job not telling about the characters because it makes me want to read this book to see how the characters act or behave.

I think that this is quite a good review on this book because it tells about the main parts of the book with no parts that will spoil the book by talking too much about it. I think that you said enough about the characters because this is the third book and if you want more information about the characters, look at the first book.

I've never read the first couple books before this one, but it all sounds really interesting. I've never really read anything with different dimensions either, so if I read this it'll be a reallly new expierince. What is the first book in this series? Maybe I can start off with that book.

I've tried reading this book, like the first 100+ pages, then I put it down. In my opinion I thought this book was boreding and dull. There wasn't much action and the story just kind of flowed with no problems. This is a series and sadly, I have tried with no sucess to read the other book in the series. If you want to read a fantansy book with dragons, I recommend Eragon.

I read this book before, but I didn't enjoy it much. I think the plot was a little dull. I read the first and second books, but I decided to give up the series so I didn't read the third book. I think this book had too little action in it and sometimes it is a little confusing.
I think the summary of the book is a little confusing because it does not introduce the book for people who have not read the first and second books.

I have never read any books in this series, nor have a heard of them. From reading this book review I think I might want to start reading this series, it sounds like really good fantasy books. Although Ive never really been into fantasy books, I aslo thought that before I read twilight (a book where a girl falls in love with a vampire) and I fell in love with it, and I assure the same thing could happen with these books :)

I think your overall review on this book is quite good, because your summary was very straight forward and easy to understand. However, I think your review could be better if you haven't talked about how the story is going to end.

I like the way this review is written because it sounds very straightforward yet informative. Chris D’Lacey sounds like an author who knows what to write and how to attract young people by his writings.

FANTASY IS NOT THE WAY i USUALLY GO WITH BOOKS, BUT THIS BOOK HAS SOME POTENTIAL IN PERSUADING ME TO CHECK IT OUT. THE PLOT SEEMS PRETTY GOOD AND THE FACT THAT THERE IS SOME MYSTERY IT HAS AN EDGE. i DONT EXACTLY WISH FOR MORE BUT I THINK I MIGHT LIKE IT.

Markus, why don't you like fantasy, seriously, the only thing you like is Basketball. Anyway, I like fantasy so I think I'll take a chance with this book. It seems very interesting.
Really Nice review

I'm really not a fan of mystery and I don't like sad endings. I don't think I will read it but good review.
